Beer Camp is hitting the road on an eight-city festival tour, and every craft brewer in America is invited to join. San Francisco will be holding their festival on June 3rd! It's a can't miss event with lots of amazing one-off beers and local brewery participation.
When most people think of barrel-aged beers, the first thing that comes to mind is dark beer. For some it’s a rich, chocolate stout; for others a boozy, sweet quad. While this year’s Festival of Barrel Aged Beers in Chicago had and incredible array of bold dark beers, it also had a plentiful selection of light—and often sour—barrel aged beer. Top chefs from the islands offer their best pairings ranging from fresh fish and smoked meats to deep fried avocados and tropical sweets.
The adrenaline rush of GABF 2015 has subsided as we all return to our regular routines. The beers we drank, the people we met, and the experiences we had quietly fall into the recess of our minds, and sometimes memories on a page. My idea is to parse together a series of spontaneous – in the moment – photographs alongside recollections of a sobering GABFer.
Craft Beer Heaven is exactly what sounds like and a great way to spend a hot Saturday afternoon in Ventura, CA. This is the fourth year of the California Beer Festival, and each Saturday of the travelling festival features this event, a collection of local and national brewers coming together to share beers, new ones and classics.
